Getting back on track: Mbalula announces Prasa, private-sector plan to resuscitate rail services

You are not understanding his problem, he is fixated on the past, in his mind the solution was not to have the railway fixed and the service restored, but instead to dwell on the problem and keep on asking idiotic questions.

All he is interested in is moaning.
The "solution" is far more obvious. What we have now, has not been "solved", it was "managed" by throwing money at it. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of money, inefficiently. The problem is still there, and will manifest again.

You are telling me that I am the one fixated on the past? (unlike you and your crowd fixated on apartheid, right wings, etc)

You are praising the very people that destroyed it?

Which question was idiotic? And if it was idiotic, I assume it must also be wrong?

The solution to any problem is very simple, don't do anything, just sit back and moan about it, when it's still not fixed after moaning about it, moan even more, you will see, it will fix itself in no time at all.

Also, totally forgetting who fcked it up in the first place. I mean, why worry about that, right?

No no, it has been proven that if you moan about that at least 10 times a day for the whole month while shouting the name of the person who broke it shortens the service restoration time by a third.

I will highlight it every time I see it.

It's like the lazy worker who doesn't do what he is told, and as a result, things break. Now he jumps to fix it, and gets praised for saving the day. That's Africa. Ignore the problems.

In the mean time, how to safely and reliably get from Durbanville to Cape Town Station via rail? Whoops.

Dangerous things these trains as yesterday I was put-putting along over the railway lines (main Jhb-Dbn) which has been known to have the odd train but grass has grown and floods occurred so not to be taken seriously. Looking around casually as I crossed here I see a bliksem se train. Luckily it was creeping along but gave me a skrik, almost like being spoken to politely by an SA civil servant.

With this response, you have simply exposed yourself and your bias.

You see the "solution" as being running trains, and working infrastructure, with those who caused the wanton destruction still cosy and comfortable in their deployed positions, with their fat ill-gotten bank accounts and Johnny-Walker-Blue-Label-hand-washing ceremonies.

What's that? No you don't? Oh, so you would like them removed from their positions and locked up too? Oh, ok, but you want that now, only after they had their snouts in the trough for another round? That's not how this works. You have the order wrong. And therefore the problem is still there. The problem statement isn't "the infrastructure is brukken". The problem statement is "the corrupt and incompetent are in charge, and they keep stealing the money with every invoice". There is no solution, there was simply management of the voters feely-feels, and value destruction on a massive scale. Because the problem will once again manifest. And the corrupt will siphon billions again.

You're just another piece of voting fodder. You were played. And what makes it worse, is that you love it.

While you were busy moaning, all the seats were taken.

Just garbage as usual. "Train" trip was completed by bus, guessing hours late. Viva ANC chump, viva.

Whats up with speed though ? Is contract given to Post Office ?
Something doesn't compute.
How can it take 16 hours? What are they doing along the way. Stopping to build more track?
