Hi,

Can any one assist with the following problem.

I've been experiencing the following problem for the last 3 days in the Pinelands CT area.

When I try to dialup with the E620, I keep on getting the following error code.

Error 619: A Connection to the remote computer could not be established...

I'm also experiencing similar problems when connecting via my handset to the 3G network.

Kinds Regards

Coverage issue , change profile , try gprs only or 3g only , when you use the other profile it keeps swapping and disconnects.

I've switched to Edge/GPRS.

Same result. Error 619.

If error 619 occurs

Step 1: Restart your computer. If you still have the error, go onto step 2

Step 2: Delete your SMIG connection.
To delete your SMIG connection, right-click the mouse button, and left-click on Delete. Then reinstall SMIG according to the XP directions. If this does not correct the error, go onto step 3

Step 3: You now need to remove the modem.
Go to Control Panel, Phone and Modems, Modems tab. Highlight the modem, and click on Remove. After which, close everything, restart your computer and Windows will reinstall the modem for you.

This is a 'bug' in the Windows XP operating system. It may or may not occur.

Hi
We are currently having some issues with GPRS/3G. Some changes will be made tonight. Please test in the morning and advise.
