The worst is running Hall of Light 15 times and getting to Locken and not being able to kill him think my deaths in total are about 70 times in that stupid heroic dungeon

He is officially the deadliest boss in WoW at the moment so it's understandable

A Pally healer can do fine, according to Ghostcrawler from Bliz himself the tactic is to BoL himself, then keep the others alive

I use Sacred shield for absorbtion and the crithealing factor,if somebody's in trouble holy shock and then nuke with a Holy Light for some aoe love

visit www.wowhead.com

Look under Database --> Items

Check each item that is obtainable in heroics. Start grinding heroics and gear up/collect emblems. During this time you will gain reputation from various factions. At exalted you will be able to buy some decent gear. Check what craftables you can get. Gather the mats, and have it made. Before you know it, you will be doing decent dps. Thereafter, you will start farming Naxx ;)

Tanks/Healers have it easy. Yes there roles are important and knowing how to tank and heal also a must.

But...

Didn't all of you or most of you started of by joining PUG run's at first ... and to think you dont even wait that long ... getting geared as a tank / healer is as easy as jumping of a cliff !

This is due to the fact that you log on /join lfg and bam there you go.

DPS'ers get kicked for not doing enough and we also sit and wait for groups much longer than you guys.

Especially if you are a casual gamer who is not in one of the raiding guilds on your server.

I know that my dps is not the best but it helps allot in HC when the tank is only tanking 1 maybe 2 to mobs due to all the cc going around.

I am hunter and therefore i can double frost trap ( ranged ) one mob and sleep another. Whilst doing that the other okes are bombing away and I loose dps.

Yeah coming from the guy that ONLY play PURE dps classes your last main was rogue now its a Warlock lol.

Was kicked for being few points under i could have lied and gone but i did not.
Note it was also after i did EVERY hc in this game and geared 3 healers up.I did not know of all the best enchant for DK since last time i tanked was on druid.
Why i asked for help.

Person who kicked me was elitist prick who had greens mixed with blues go figure.

Coming from a guy that did not even know unholy spec DK can tank.If Dk is specced rigth it does not matter were most of his point lie he can tank.

hehe,

Hey I'm in no way flaming you. Just saying that it's a 2 way street ;) Blaming only DPS's is a little silly. I have been in PUG's and even our own guild raids where you get people who leach off us who really put allot of work into our chars. I have been working my arse off to get up to 1.8k DPS for Naxx and then you get people who go into those raids just to gear up in there. It's sad but true. I'm at a point now where these constant wipes in Raids because of people leaching is going to drive me insane.

But that is just my little rant :p

no no no.

You and Eina are doing fine. Since you guys came back, Eina has been gearing up nicely. I mean he is amoungst the top DPS's, and you are the Top healer ;) I'm talking about a specific Shaman who is now healing, he hasn't played in ages, then also a certain mage who has the best gear he can get for his warrior but his mage is geared crap. and the list just goes on and on. O and a certain Rogue, you should know who that is, playing with another warrior also undergeared..... Feel my pain pls, feel it.

At least Bubble is pretty nicely geared and also left RAW now to play with us :)

We only have it easy finding groups. It's still a lot harder to Tank/Heal then DPS hence why so few people do it.

I totally agree with you tanking and healing is harder and sometimes much more fun.

Sure there is "leachers" and is them that make life harder for a pure dps class like myself, and therefore the assumption is made that all dps'ers leach.

If you know what you are doing then you will be an asset to any group even though your dps might be on the low side .

Yesterday i was in LFG got inv for timed run COS for the mount.
I got there and the healer only had 11k mana i thougth maybe hes got major spirit when we started i was top dpser as tank other falling behind with 600 dps.

And we wiped on first boss and these guys were serious about doing it timed.
As far as i know timed run is for peopel that over geared.

I was actually just kidding. As Shogun stated it isn't all that easy to tank / heal. I watch Eina tank and I wouldn't be able to keep up with holding aggro on multiple pulls, pulling mobs off DPS / healers.

Lemme check the guild list to see who the shammy is.

I forsee a Mage + Pally clashing soon ....

I think our healers would have obatined some decent gear by the time I get back. It is actually good to get a few more healers going.

600 dps rating ...ouch

I must say I avg 1400dps wich is on the low side, but 600dps is just not right.
Surely the ppl are afking or must have all lvl 75 greens .....

My point was how difficult it is for a avg geared player "like myself" doing avg dps getting into Pugable raids !

Example : I was kicked out of a OS 25 3 nights ago because I had to much blues ! but the 2 ppl I inspected had some green items on ... I was totally disgusted and /quit immediatly.

Last night however I got my T7 hands from OS 25 and throughout the raid my dps wasn't to bad once again between 1400-1600.

Guilds ftw! Although we do not have enough for 25mans we do know enough ppl to form a 25 man.

The thing that I like about our guild is that the regular players will take the time to gear up someone new. Thats why guild size just isn't important to us anymore. We are aiming for a small guild of dedicated players who have the same goals in WoW.

True,

I'm more than willing to run heroics to help people gear. Thta is not the problem. The problem however is when raid is at 19:00 said people log on at 18:50 Do the raid and you will only see them again 10 minutes before the next raid. They take no effort what so ever to get gear.

And it's damn frustarting. Once you hit the wing where those gargoil*sp things spawn. You need to have massive amounts of DPS. We get stuck there because it starts casting stoneskin and then heals itself up full again.

/sigh

I'm highly frustrated
And my constant dc's aint helping much either /cry
