I actually quite enjoy pugging naxx 10 and heroics and more so for the fun and to see who else is out there. Guild runs are great for the quick, flawless and almost clinical runs but they are not the most exciting. The only excitement is when 2 or 3 groups of mobs get pulled rather than just 1.
I always laugh when someone asks me for my stats and as a mage they always ask me what my SP is but they never ask me about hit, crit or haste and it really shows how little they know about what they are asking. I never answer as if they have to ask they usually want to be carried through themselves. So often i've seen ads in /2 asking for well geared dps and then the tank and other dps are horribly geared. If you want decent dps i expect decent tanking and healing and visa versa of course.
