Howzit guys. The BF convinced me a while ago to try GHB. He used it long time ago and said he would like to again, but with me. I was very hesitant about it but eventually agreed. We had a extremely intense night and I really enjoyed it. I made it very clear though that even though there is lots left in the bottle, this will be something we do maybe every 3 months or so. I dont want addiction to rear its ugly head and I am sure it puts strain on the body also. We made very sure we had no alcohol in our system before we took it because that is apparently looking for BIG trouble. What I found strange though is that for the next few days, me and the BF could not stand drinking alcohol. Just the idea of having a drink did not sit well with us. Found that very interesting.

Anyway, was curious as to how many of you guys have done it and what your experience was like. Poll is up also in case you want to remain anon.

Never have and never will. Not a fan of chemicals.

Only thing I'll touch now is psilocybin a few times a year. Fun trips and when it wears off there is no come down or after effects, at least in my experience.

Because it's actually GHB... Gammahydroxybutrate, but folk call it liquid ecstasy 'cos well, liquid ecstasy or GHB are easier to say.

Okkie, it can be hectic. Safe place and good friends only, 'cos it can make you... I wanna say, messy.

It's used as a treatment for alcolism
GHB's also an approved therapy for alcoholism in Italy. Researcher Gian Luigi Gessa, MD, head of the neuroscience department at the University of Cagliari in Italy says GHB acts like methadone in heroin addicts, blocking the craving.

its precursor is gbl (gamma butyrolactone) gbl is an alkaline with en exceptionally strong soapy taste.
you definitely had neither of there - there is no drink out there able to hide the taste of either.
both cause amnesia.
you would know you have been drugged with either. onset begins with light headedness progressing to dizziness, then your legs go weak (if you are standing), if you have had enough you will pass out into a coma like state, typically for 2 to 3 hrs.

you definitely did not have ghb or gbl - alcohol is its worst enemy - you would have been throwing up halfway through your first glass of wine.
ghb / gbl has been used to combat alcoholism for this very reason

if there was a drug involved, my money would be in rohypnol.
it used to be a small white tablet, 2mg, with a double fracture line - completely tasteless.
because of its prevalence in date rapes, pfizer laboratories dropped the strength to 1mg, and changed to to blue - so it's presence in a drink would be noticed, it now also has a bitter component.

the original 2mg variant is not available at all to the public, only available for in-hospital use, primarily as a anesthetic pre-med - usually only in state hospitals.
if this is what you had, it would have come via somebody who works in a hospital environment.


my money would be on rohypnol

Oh for sure. I will only do it while we are home and with him. We also agreed that we are NOT to use it while the other is not at home for safety reasons.

Why take the drug, what does it feel like etc etc.

I could describe lube like that.
Does it heighten certain things, make you lose inhibitions...what? You've said nothing about the drug & its effects.

Yes.....does lower your inhibitions. We did things which neither of us ever thought we would do for real.

But apart from that, the feeling of closeness and bonding was ...... I am not sure what word is appropriate. Extremely intense
