Item name (be very descriptive): The bike was completely rebuilt and fully serviced (shock included) 70km ago. I just rode Die Burger with it then washed it. New frame and new XT rear derailleur, the rest of the parts were all good. Neat 1x10 bike with the wide ratio Sunrace cassette and plenty of life left on the Crossmark tyres.
Age and condition: Less than a year old, perfect condition.
Do you include packaging: No
Warranty: No
Reason for selling: Bought an older 2014 MTB that I ride more, would have loved to keep both but I need the cash.

Just curious

Not an MTB expert, but what are the advantages/benefits of the single front sprocket?

Lower maintenance and lower weight. Your chain tends to last longer as the front derailleur is not as gentle as those found at the rear. You disadvantages are you have a narrower set of gear ratios available, however with this bike I have fitted a very wide ratio 11t-42t cassette at the back so the lowest gear ratio is on par with a typical 3x8 (24speed) MTB you find in most shops.
