Giraffe kills Toddler in South African Game Park

I have asked the Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation for clarity on whether the giraffe was killed during the attack or at a later stage.
I have also questioned the term euthanasia ....

I don't get it. Do they think the giraffe has a taste for human blood now or something? It's a wild animal - what does killing it accomplish?

Yeah but then let's kill all the giraffes just to be sure right? A wild animal shouldn't have to pay a price for doing what wild animals do. Either we want reserves with wild animals and we accept the consequences thereof (sometimes people will get hurt) or we don't want wild animals.

Disagree, it is a wild animal. It is not a carnivore, this is like draining a river, because someone drowned in a river.

The real reason:

On its website, the farm says that visitors can "enjoy close encounters with animals while walking or cycling the numerous trails".

Lodges all vying to give the visitor that unique experience of close encounters which are not natural. In the wild, humans and wild animals avoid each other.

Ostrich is a wild bird. Geese have wild cousins.

Bulls can become feral. Look at USA history, where during the civil war, thousands of cattle became feral.
