So many cash in transit heists, makes you wonder or they are not collecting money for some sort of fund.
Radio 702 reported that it was understood a gang of men had tried to rob a cash-in-transit van when they were interrupted by security guards. – Sapa
A little girl was shot dead:mad:  in a shootout in the Johannesburg CBD in which seven other people were wounded, Netcare 911 said on Tuesday.

Spokesperson Nick Dollman could not give details as to what had led to the shootout, but said emergency personnel had attended to the scene on the corner of Bree and Wanderers roads.

He said multiple shots were fired, and paramedics attended to eight people who had been shot, including the little girl who was shot in the head and died on the scene.

Three of the other seven wounded were in critical condition, and they were all civilians. They were transported to the Helen Joseph and Johannesburg hospitals.

Police could not be reached for information on what had led to the shooting.

I wish I could shake Thabo Mbeki and tell him: 'WAKE UP'!!

Maybe we've let this corrupt & evil South Africa gone on long enough, but what do we do now?

Yeah! Where is the days when cops or security guards would be taken to task for endagering public life! Nowadays, thanks to the low intelect GVT, anything goes. Hope the family sue the pants of the B@stards~!

Imagine it was your little girl being shot dead in the street - my heart goes out to the woman that lost her child, it's incredibly sad.

Hey Mr. Stormfront give it a rest ok, your thumbsdown threads, red font and negativity are becoming rather boring, who doesn't know about the situation, how about posting suggestions to improve it for a change?

No, Angelo, it's your political party & the government that must start doing something about this crime haven, that was sometimes called South Africa.

Why do you live in denial?

One improvement is for Mr Angelo to change his dilated attitude and agree that the country is a criminal cesspool thanks to GVT (Not Apartheid) or at least be honest with himself that he and his GVT is responsible, albeit indirectly, for this death!

http://www.mweb.co.za/news/?p=top_article&i=287839

We can do nothing to change matters just as little as we can achieve progress on the broadband arena with this GVT in power only interested in fraud and power! as this country is run by low intellect idiots that is no different from the North Korean leader! You cannot talk to them as they are on their own trip as so is Angelo!

The GVT would rather spend MILLIONS on unneccesary name changes than actually use on something usefull...hmmm, like crime prevention maybe?

They are always moaning about no money, no police force, no this no that but then go and blow all that doh on pointless crap like that...

In the UK, when a crime is commited. They put big signboards there stating what crime had been commited and has a number for witnesses to call. Then cops walk up and down the street knocking on doors and asking the peeps if they saw anything.
Also the cops there get their own little area to look after and just concentrate on crime in their area. Plus, theres lots of them and when you phone the police they actually show up.

"The minister of safety and security (Charles Nqakula) speaks about ordinary citizens who must get involved in the struggle against crime.

How about the GVT getting involved and doing something about the situation rather than just talking about it.

Bring back the death penalty....eye for an eye.

Suggestion no. 1 - Stop supporting a corrupt political party.

Suggestion no. 2 - Starting with you.

You will get the perfect opportunity to do that at the next national elections.

And stand a chance in doing what, voting against the 50%+ low intelects that do not even know what to vote for like in Zimbabwe! I bet You will vote for the current incompetant GVT again..and Again...and again! No matter what!
