Giving up as well

Yep! Giving up on this side as well.

We ordered ADSL and we're gonna get a 30 Gig all-you-can-eat account...

Here's hoping we can actually get it this time! :(

So pretty soon there'll be another UTD for sale! :)

Heh heh. Looks like WBS is going to have a lower customer base than they had at the beginning of this year. Serves them right for their lack of customer care and horrible accounts department ;)

Less iBurst customers = faster download speeds for happy iBursters!!!!

Sorry to hear iBurst didn't work for you, but it works faaking great for me, I was getting download speeds of 124kbps from Sony Ericcson's web site today.

No way I'm EVER going back to Telscum, faak them.

Fishfly, I realised why I had to stay away from Telkom!

I sold my laptop modem + iburst modem to my boss and thought it's time to use my good ol' Samsung ADSL modem again (worked a treat in the UK!). I went to Telkom, applied for a phone line and ... she said they could ONLY do it after three weeks!!! Needless to say, I cancelled my order and went to purchase an iBurst desktop modem.

After two days, this woman from Telkom phoned me and was asking me in a threatening voice why I cancelled my order - it was sounding like the Telkom police are on their way to my house!!! I told her that the service center told me it would take three weeks to activate the line (there's already an existing one in my house) and that I see the Telkom tech guys sleeping in their bakkies every afternoon, so I can't see why it must take three weeks.

She just went quiet.

That is why I'd rather stick with iBurst, nothing can be worse than being a 'valued Telkom customer', like they state on their web site - EVER!
