Manchester United are the best team in the world and proved so once again last night.
Anyone who says they "suck" after they won an away Semi-final of the Champions League 3-1 (should have been 3-0, Fletcher got the ball) is either jealous or extremely stupid

Man o man barcelona mugged chelsea last night, just shows never sit on a 1 goal lead. Must say though messi may not be the best player the world, considering how ronaldo does in the defensive prem league compared to messi when playing english teams i would say ronaldo would run the rings around the okes in spain with all that space to move.
+1..MAN UTD..currently best team in the world (always the best in my books)

Only if he had the service Messi has. Which in another team (not United) would be hard to come by. Real Madrid my arse, they would ruin Ronaldo.
Well messi gets the service because he is allowed by the look of things, spain is very attacking where as the prem league is so defensive and apart from mugging english teams barcelona look lost and have no clue how to attack english teams as they are so good defensively, now considering how well ronaldo does i think he would run riot in spain. Be considered the best player ever possibly and thats why i think he is so eager to move, i hope he moves so we can find out or messi must come to the prem league but considering he does not like playing english teams he would not do so well i think but one thing is clear watching messi against english teams or barcelona for that matter is they need a new plan because the way they play is not working against the likes of United and chelsea, if barcelona cannot figure a new way to play english teams they will lose badly against united in the final. Spain is a very poor league if you ask me and you can see it when they play english teams. Soccer is not all out attack so what guirdiola means by anti football is beyond me, no where does it state you must attack the entire game and not have a good defensive setup haha.

I reckon if Messi took one year to adapt to English footy, he would be GODLIKE! All he needs is constant uber-physical opposition.

It is extremely important to note how Chelsea played against Barcelona. They literally camped 10 men in the box and double marked, sometimes triple marked Messi.
Chelsea played so defensive, it was not their usual way of playing in the EPL. Its normal to double mark a player but to have the entire team sit back and defend defend defend, leaving no space for Barcelona to move was special, and hats off to Chelsea.
They really are disciplined and that i admire. I would prefer my team to be the one attacking and the opposition to rely on a counter attack. For me, the attacking team has the advantage. You never know if the defending team will keep the attack out. Look what happened to Chelsea. One lapse of concentration and Barca punished them.
To judge Messi on the Chelsea performance would be daft. He will run circles around any team, why do you think Guus made Chelsea play the way they did? It was mainly to stop Messi from playing. They achieved it. It had nothing to do with his ability or his skill as a footballer. Chelsea planned and executed their game plan SPECIFICALLY to stop Messi. It worked. Good on them.
Give him an inch of space or better yet, give him some space and have him double marked. Messi will turn them inside out and make them look stupid before passing the ball into the net.
I am excited to see what United's strategy will be. 10 men behind the ball to stop Messi, Eto and Henry. Or take Barca on pound for pound.
Somehow i dont think Ferguson would try to outplay/out attack Barca. The game would be over in the 20th minute then.

Maybe smokey would love to see him try in all honesty, i doubt he would get the time or space to do as well as he does in spain, the defending in england is far better than in spain who think football is all out attack and shout anti footie when a team plays a defensive game. I hope ronaldo goes to real madrid next season and man united buy ribery. Would love to see him have so much space and time to play.
I hope henry is back for barcelona because if they play how they played against chelsea the final will be over by half time, united have a far better attack than chelsea and would have ripped barca to shreds even when they had 11 men. Henry has become a key player for barcelona even though some said he had no talent in his first season at barce.

I doubt Ronaldo will be a hit in Spain. There is a reason why Maradona, Cryuff, Pele has said that Messi is the next legend. Till this day, they have not said anything similiar regarding Ronaldo.
