I live in Uitzicht (Durbanville) and Vuma trenched my street. Real messy business but now all closed up except for some houses where they have these concrete driveways. Don't know what's going to happen there.
The sad part for me is that after confirming 3 times that they must connect my house, they went right past and connect my neighbor. No idea if they will come back and connect me.
Did follow it up with one of the reps so will wait patiently.

I also live in Uitzicht. They haven't connected the fibre yet, they are still finishing civil work.

They will probably start pulling the fibre next week via the trenching, and only when that is live will they do the trenching inside your yard.

I suspect end November we will be up and running ( hopefully )

I was referring to the grey box they install on the property. Houses in my street already have that on the boundary walls. I however do not have a boundary wall in front, so maybe that's the problem.
Hope they don't expect me to build a wall first:)

Nope, at the townhall meeting Vumatel explained that people with no front walls will be linked directly from the black cover in your front yard. The one that looks like the blue water meter box.
