Going from Metro Vodacom contract to Vodacom contract?

Hey Guys,

My wife is due for an upgrade next month, but we want to move from the Metro contract to plain Vodacom contract. I remember before number portability that you could not keep your number if you say moved from Nashua Mobile to Metro. It happened to her when moving over to Metro (best deal at that time). Can we just go to say Vodaworld and sign an upgrade contract at the Vodashop, or must we sign a new or porting contract.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jip, is the store. We want to go to the Vodashop and upgrade and not upgrade at the Metro shop at Vodaworld.

Yup , Metro is basically Vodacom SP - you can upgrade at any Vodashop. I have done this numerous times.

Ye Metro is not a SP. You can upgrade at any Vodacom approved dealer, Vodashops, Vodacom 4u stores, Game etc
