I am going to the US in mid April, schedule to return in late May 2014.

What cool gadgets would you buy if it was you going?

Knowing how difficult it can be to sort out stuff from a distance is there any minor hassle that I can take care of for you? I have an office in California for receiving small items, letters. No promises, but if I can help, I will.

Never ate those. ok I change my mind TacoBell is a must

You like eating empty taco's? :wtf: :p Or taco-less taco's (yes I've seen friends get both, haha)
White Castle really sucks, tried it once and never again, no flavour from anything.

If you want Tacos I'd say almost any mexican restaurant is going to be better than Tacobell. I like eating at Chipotle for burritos (even though they are not strictly mexican with how they make them)

I went to the states a few years ago and Germany last year via Dubai, and I did not feel the urge to buy any electronics. IMO, our prices down here are not that bad.
I did buy some memorabilia and chocolates for the wife.

But what I did notice at Dubai is people from India buying lots and lots of big screen tv's. And in the states, I saw someone bringing back a hifi of some sorts. So there must be some savings in it. Probably depends on what you buy.

Do you buy a lot of electronics and gadgets? Because if you do, you would know how much cheaper they are in the States

And a GOPRO.

Where in the USA are you going?

Arriving Washington, DC mid April. Staying with a buddy for a few days. Then train across the northern part to Sacramento, Calif. Takes 3 nights, I think. Be in Sacramento about 2 weeks. This is where my business office is. Then a week in SF. Then jump on the train which heads south to San Diego and then east across the south. I jump off in New Orleans for a week. Spent a few days there many years ago and liked it. Then back on the train to DC. And back to SA late May

Never done a long train trip in the US so I am excited to be crossing the country on 2 different routes. I'm also thinking that if I really like NO, I will push out my return. And miss some of the winter here, 'cept NO gets hot and humid in summer. So they say.

No, please no. Obama is the biggest disaster to befall America and the presidency in a generation. Keep him away from us, or he'll bankrupt the country.
