I have done some research and comparisons on internet offerings.

Offering from BitCo seams awesome at great price, and i am yet to read a bad review. Going to try them out, 12 month contract for R899, Uncapped, 5Mbps upload.

My neighbourhood does not have fibre yet. Hoping in 12 months time we will have fibre here and fibre prices have settle, then i will definitely try that.

Ahhhhh, bad news, we did not have a direct line of sight to the bitco points. So no Bitco luck for us....

Any company forcing you to sign a 12 month contract for internet should be shot. You dodged a bullet there.

No contract requires you to pay R4200 upfront for installation & equipment. 12-months contract reduces that to R800 and 24-months waivers it completely.

Which is understandable, considering the installation took 2 guys half a day at my place. The pole is probably around 60mm with a massive bracket, then a rocket dish and the actual radio (probably around 4k mark already there), PoE injector, probably at least 20m ethernet cable at my place, a cisco 8 port managed switch and the "free" linksys E900 router.
All the equipment except the E900 is leased from them but either way they need to cover the equipment cost and installation effort and it's unlikely to be worth it if you just get it for a month.

The 2 guys drove all the way from Jhb to Bfn to do the installation, when they were finished they got in their bakkie and drove back.
