Goo Goo Dolls tickets for Kirstenbosch in December

Why is it so expensive though? The Maroon 5 concert was only like R300 for the cheap seats and they have tons of hits and had Keane, and a whole lot of other good acts before.

Goo goo dolls have like 2 songs I know.

It’s like heroin for oldies so they just have to pony up no matter the gouging.

+-70k capacity stadium vs a few thousand capacity at Kirstenbosch. (No idea what the actual numbers are but you get the point...)
 
Never thought this lot were any good- and most of their popular songs were ear-wormed anyway thanks to Primedia's fine tradition of playing the same song 6 times a day on their radio stations.
 
They were at their peak when I was in high school, so I want to see songs like, Black Balloon, Big Machine, Slide, Iris, Name - Mostly from the 2 albums around 1998-2002.
 
Are tickets being resold on the major ticket provider websites?
It seems most tickets for many events can be resold on the official ticketing websites, it’s now a thing
