Good hotel in Western Cape. Any recommendations?

The missus and I are looking for a decent 4 possibly 5 star hotel within about 200km of Cape Town. We are looking for a place with a decent restaurant, babysitting facilities for our baby boy and if the Gods smile on me a river or dam where I can do some fly fishing within 10 minutes drive.

So far Bushmanskloof looks promising. (but slightly above budget.)

The budget is R1000-R1200 per person per night

If possible we would like to avoid the obvious tourist traps (Franschoek being the most blatant example.)

I've checked there. I prefer recommendations and a lot of places (Like Bushmanskloof.) don't advertise on those sites.

Sleeping-out is also a bit sparse when it comes to the details.

Only place that comes to mind for fishing is Clan William (mainly bass fishing I think) and the nearby dam Bulshoek.

This is our fallback plan. We went last year and enjoyed it.
