Good idea to port to Telkom Mobile now?

My Cell C contract has about 2 months left, looking at the upgrade options on their useless site but everything is too expensive.

I'm looking at getting the S7 Edge, Telkom have it for R599 with the small contract which works great for me. Anything I should be aware of or should I just go for it?

Did the same a fews years ago and didn't look back. Just remember to convert to prepaid first when your contract expires then port. My idea was to port to Telkom and go to prepaid first before signing a new contract just to make sure i am happy with the network. Only thing is I never got that far to signing that new contract. Still on Telkom prepaid and happy where i am.

Have been with Telkom for a year and a half. No problems. On contract.

Have been with them for just over 2 years and smooth sailing so far, although I'm considering moving to Afrihost now for the cheaper data.
