Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a very good orthopaedic doctor in dbn? I have been to several who are supposedly good but none of them have been able to help me.
A few years back I took a nasty fall and wrecked my back. Ever since I have had a pain in my back and I have begun to walk with a limp. The last 2 orthopaedic surgeons basically spent 5 minutes with me, made me lift my leg and bent and rotated it in several directions and asked me if it hurt. I said no, they said okay nothing wrong with you go home that will be R1200.
My limp is getting worse and I am now struggling to walk and not sure what to do. I have been to a chiro who said my muscles are tight and I have scar tissue and need to go for accupuncture. I have been to a paediatrist who says I have leg length discrepancy and need orthodics. I have been to a GP who sent me for an xray and says I have mild scoliosis and its normal and nothing I can do.
4 different answers from 4 different people and yet no one seems to recognize the fact that I was fine prior to falling. (I am 28 now, i got the injury when i was about 24).
Anyway, I would really like it if someone could recommend someone who is good and who will spend some time with me to help identify what the problem is.
