As the topic says. :)

Edit: I could only find Airband and they're ridiculously expensive. I'm used to R100/GB.

I'm still in the Cape, but moving to Durban in April. Don't know where I will stay yet but hopefully in the western parts of Durban, or Durban North, or up the coast to Umhlanga somewhere. So basically it could be anywhere but Durban South or Durban Central. I got prices from Vlocity as well (or NS Wireless I think they're also called) but they also seem ridiculously expensive. Does no-one offer something in the line of R100/GB on a 1MB line??

T-Sol has a wireless network that runs over most of KZN. They have a package called the Night Owl - uncapped for R499 a month. The connection is slow during the day but its 1024kbps at night.

Awesome, that sounds perfect for me as I'll be at work during office hours. Are these the guys?

best to send an email to the support adress on the site

Thanks again for the info, I spoke to someone at T-Sol on the phone now and he confirmed the details for the Night Owl package. Sounds good, I will sign up if there's coverage for my area. I almost gave up on wireless options until you mentioned them.

I don't understand why you say VLocity is so expensive, when our uncapped options start at R490 a month burstable to 1 meg, all the time, eveyday
I think it would be wize to do your homework properly before bad-mouthing someone

I was comparing Durban wireless prices with Western Cape wireless prices. There's a huge difference in price. Why? And why don't you have your prices on your website? Not bad-mouthing you here, just wondering.

In the end I couldn't find anyone who could reach me with wireless, so I'm using HSDPA for now. Also ridiculously expensive. :crying:

Xtranet offers wireless connectively but limited areas as the coverage is still being built as an additional service. This is being targeted to their VoIP clients but they will offer data on it as well. I am not sure on pricing. Will find out.

Knows anyone the Wi-Fi provider in Sezela? I've got signal on my laptop when I visited the place but forgot the name.
