Google’s new reCAPTCHA doesn’t require users to click

I changed my sites to use Invisible reCAPTCHA, it only prompted to solve a captcha when it detected a low 'visitor' score. I quickly logged into reCAPTCHA now and see that they listed Invisible as an option below reCAPTCHA v2.

I can't really see how reCAPTCHA 3 is new, or newer than Invisible reCAPTCHA, unless they evolved Invisible reCAPTCHA as Google does with every product by bundling two or more into one. In essence, they do the very same thing... maybe it is less visible.

Ok, so reCAPTCHA v3 is an analytics tool over and above authentication. They need this to be implemented by the webmaster, due to privacy reasons, because Google Analytics in its own right doesn’t have those legal permissions. This is what I assume by going through some docs.

Google should allow that integration between the two mechanisms in the CP, alternatively, e-comm developers will most likely now give that option in their own components.

Anything to help reduce the ache, i understand the reasons behind though

As long as it isn't marking traffic lights, bicycles, cars, buses, crosswalks, road signs etc
