Chrome Journeys takes users down browsing memory lane

Google announced that it is rolling out its Chrome Journeys feature, which will let users revisit their historical browsing sessions based on the subject matter that was searched.

If a word entered in the search bar matches what was searched for in a historical browsing session, the user will be presented with the option to "Resume your search".

Basically, it is search recovery, but branded to be something cool. Just shows that Google is very transparent about them tracking your activities… and I wonder whether this will be a separate data node to the current search history? I disable all my tracking in Google, even though I know they keep track irrespectively.

I don't know about you guys but I definitely don't need this.
