If you haven't got Google Earth yet, download it here : www.earth.google.com - oh, and it's free!

Couldn't stop laughing when I moved over Johannesburg area - there are some funny captions next to the different areas, but maybe I'm just seeing things..

Also, it's middle of the month - start using that bandwidth, or surrender it to WBS!?

Apologies! The 'captions' are actually articles by National Geographic that you can click on - this is also new.

Cape Town has updated earial shots, Centurion is still called 'Verwoerdburg', but now I can *finally* see Twin Rivers (Irene flea market) on the updated map + new content has been added!

Enjoy!

Yes, not sure what 'Durban' they're referring to, looks like a gremlin slipped into the system, or a newly created 'Durban' by our government?

Dig the 'flyovers' and diary entries by the pilots & observers - but reading all of it might keep me busy till next Xmas!

Love the app - can keep my girlfriend busy for hours.
See goes to all these exotic places on GoogleEarth. Now I don't have to pay for holidays there as she has already seen it :)
