Google faces multibillion anti-trust fine in the EU

The Wall Street Journal has reported that the antitrust watchdog of the EU is expected to find that Google abused its dominance in the smartphone operating system space with Android.

Should the EU rule against Google, it will issue a multibillion-euro fine and order that it change its Android business practices, stated the report.

Think this is similar to the Microsoft IE antitrust situation.

Edit: pretty sure MS just paying the fine yearly now so that they can bundle Edge with Windows. Google will do the same.

Also Google is hardly a monopoly so if Google gets fined Apple will also get fined

MS is different... We pay for the use of Windows we should have the choice of browser.
