It seems South Africa is also getting a pretty steep price increase at the same time, Google is like a Nigerian drug dealer, get us all hooked on cheap drugs and then ratchet the price up once there's no turning back. :mad:
 
I never felt the need for premium. Seeing one or two 5-10s ads before a video never bothered me.
That was on my pc. Recently started watching Youtube on the tv. Now I don't know why, but I get 10 rimes more ads. And long ads. If it is a long video there is ads every 3 minutes.
So if I mainly watch Youtube on the tv I will definitely get premium.

I also got a notice about them going to kick me off if I don't link a turkish card for payment but they haven't yet so it will probably be happening soon.

I started off paying R40ish, then R60ish, now it's R80ish, the difference between Turkey and SAs pricing is literally the price of a packet of chips now.
