So these hotspots can be mapped and better routes rerouted around these stationary crime areas? How many police officers do we have, how many police cars do we have? I have a suggestion for you fancy hat guy lord of security and beach patrols....

avoiding these hotspots via google maps routes taking you on alternate routes is the tech version of government putting up a "hijack hotspot" sign.
