Google Pixel 6 and eSIM in South Africa

Anybody who has managed to get an eSIM to work in a Pixel phone on Afrihost Air Mobile, Melon Mobile, or MTN?

Anything that piggybacks on MTN won't work. I moved my Vodacom SIM to eSIM, then ordered a physical SIM from Megsapp for data.

No, MTN blocks any phone model not officially sold in South Africa from being provisioned using an eSim.

Looks like Air mobile does work with a Pixel 6 when I switch over.

Maybe ask @Afrigirl to confirm.

That's is true, however they have approved the Pixel 6.

I can confirm that calls and data work on a Pixel 6a now running the Air Mobile eSim (it didnt inittially work for me at the begining of the year). Great news.

Now.... can it pair with a Galaxy watch LTE?

The esim does not allow number sharing; you will need a new esim for your Galaxy Watch.
