Not surprising. Now that YouTube is riddled with adverts, they might as well enable you to shop from there.

They will also throttle it with their red tape policies. To be honest, YouTube is another medium where cancel culture thrives. I can see the potential, but there will be users abusing this to their desire, not only can they cancel the product, but they can also cancel your channel.

More review mechanics… Just the other day I saw a person’s video demonetised because it was reviewed by YouTube and determined as vulgar, the vulgar in question, “Chuck Yeager”, “Yeager” triggered the automatic review and was deemed by three independent reviewers as against Google’s (well, YouTube’s) terms. They basically told the creator to get rekt and STFU. It took a single surname.

Would I like to make my products exposed to this abuse? No.

Think you resell goods, and someone doesn't like what you are selling, it will impact a contractual relationship because this impacts the entire sales channel. Google need to think wisely about what they are doing here, and big channels will be more privileged than others as shown with these red-tape policies.
