Google to end free unlimited storage for photos in June 2021

Google will begin charging users to store their photos on the cloud if these photos exceed 15GB.

They also charge for storage space of course.

1TB is included with a subscription per user, which is a fair amount, unless you store 4k videos there, which will quickly start to add up.

If you have a .ac.za email address just check if it is with google, if it is, just add that account to your phone and use it for backup. Unlimited storage. The only problem is that link sharing can only be to other people with a .ac.za email address FROM YOUR UNIVERSITY.

I've had so many pics getting "lost" on their service untill i moved to OneDrive - no more issues...
