“Load shedding is going to be significantly less likely if Eskom has 4,000 – 6,000MW extra available so that these (incidents) – intentional or otherwise – can then be absorbed as part of the malfunctioning of certain units.”
Where the hell is this additional capacity going to come from?

Sure I agree. If Eskom magically had an extra 6GW to play with we wouldn't have loadshedding... so... where's it coming from you fat waste of space?

instability around Eskom's generating systems makes it difficult to give a timeframe as to when load shedding will end in South Africa
ah no worries Pravin, how about a timeframe for fixing the instability then?

or will you at some point give us the truth?

Honest Pravin: the ANC's inability to organize a pissup in a brewery, its unwillingness to do what is necessary and its complete and utter addiction to the trough makes it easy to give a timeframe as to when load shedding will end ... f-ing NEVER!

Gordhan’s load shedding message to South Africa

Public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan says that instability around Eskom's generating systems makes it difficult to give a timeframe as to when load shedding will end in South Africa, but government is working on a set of measures to create more certainty.
Fired Unca Gweezy yet?
Implemented the split of Eskom yet?
Sold off extra IPP generation rights yet?
Implemented solar subsidy for home/small-commercial generation yet?
Implemented regional energy feedback policies regarding aforementioned excess generation yet?

Ah yes - more lips and less hips I see

Thanks Gordy...guess we sort ourselves out whilst you smack those lips

They should get a inverter in their offices then so that their Analytics PC's doesn't turn off when loadshedding.

Now there's the oxymoron of the decade. These fools couldn't organise a rolled up newspaper in a shitstorm, let alone create anything of value, or build anything worthwhile. Public servants should all be forced to use the garbage they've dealt us with, state hospitals, send their snotty kids to public school, no keypoint grid for them, sit in the dark, fly economy.
