Even if they do hire these skilled workers, all it will do is ad to the wage bill and eksdoms already unpayable debt.
They are certainly not going to replace current useless employees.
The unnecessary rabble will just continue to collect a pay check while doing even less than nothing if actual skilled people get employed.
Then next year they will just toyi-toyi again for a pay increase and the wage bill will keep on ballooning.

Eksdom is done.
Accept it.

To add to this. They'll have zero effect if there's no change to management. We underestimate the damage management decisions can have on a company. There are still skilled and motivated employees (of all races) at Eskom, but poor management can dishearten and demotivate even the best and most dedicated of them.

Agreed. But you must think bigger... IF they appoint the old toppies, and we get load shedding in 6 - 12 months time, guess who they will point finger to this time.... hint.. NOT ANC.

And like you said.. Eskom is done. Put it out of it's misery.

If they appoint them and loadshedding stops who will you give all the glory to, the ANC or the old toppies?

To be fair that applies to the country as a whole. Just substitute management for political elite.
