In my opinion, go with openweb, there you can get your 3gig account and after cap you also get 30gigs of local surfing and downloading. The only problem is that they are IS and international is slightly slower ;)

it depends, cybersmart is on SAIX so you get much better international latency at a cheaper price.. of course 30 gigs is very tempting if you can get downloads going from local sites.

how about telkom internet "your isp for life"

(sorry for the humour guys and gals, :-( )

cybersmart is cheap for a 3gb cap and openweb has the added benefit of the local capping at 30gb etc,..

1. 3GB + 27GB local IS account from OpenWeb.

2. 3GB SAIX account from CyberSmart.

3. 1-3GB + 27GB IS account; + 1GB pre-paid SAIX account from WebAfrica for international - unused bandwidth rolls over to the next month. R70 per GB.

Everyone is going to tell you their personal Favourites (I know I would as well) But what do you want to do with your ADSL. That should be the deciding factor?

Is it Gaming, Browesing, Emails, Video, patching Programs, etc.

I would also take a look at the ADSL ISP discussion thread. I will take a while to check through the important posts, but at least you will get info from people over a long period of time, instead of being bombarded by the 30 people online shouting at you to choice their fav

He means he's in web design and site admin or something like that in the inudstry :p

@Freak_c: Start off with 3gb and see if it's enough. For what you say above it should be alright but that also depends on how busy you are and how much work you have to do.

I remember seeing that before some where. I think that it's most ridiculous thing ever. Their reason behind it being that you degrade their support service by asking unessesary questions. Now what if you know what you're doing and don't ever phone support, is it allowed then?

ROFL, unloyal to their brand. I WILL spend MY money where I like and as much as I like.
