Government admits corruption in police force

If the saftey and security minister continues to complain about crime he should leave the country.

Election year, prepare yourself for more of this unashamed bullsh1t all while prominent cases get pushed back far enough till after the elections, after which it will be (crime) business as usual.

Yeah ... but everybody knows about it already ... so its not really any news.

"I am aware that some senior police officers are being investigated for corruption.

Wow ... really?!

"We do not want such people in the police," he said in an SABC interview.

Neither do we ...

"The public perception that the police are corrupt is correct. Corrupt police officers should leave the police," he said.

No ... corrupt police officers should be prosecuted ... although whether they will actually be convicted is a different story entirely.

"During this festive season, we really dealt a blow to crimes.... In most cases, we prevented crimes before they happened.

"We pre-empted crimes," including bank robberies across the country, he said without giving figures.

I would love to see them prove that claim ...

Same load of BS as always ... does he really think this country is inhabited by idiots?
