False promises about ending Eskom load-shedding

Energy analyst Chris Yelland said promises by ministers that load-shedding could be ended within 6 to 18 months were never realistic.

Over the last few months, the energy minister, finance minister, and minister of electricity said load-shedding could be ended soon.

Lol...

"Government giving South Africans..."

The useless brainiacs dont give..they only take...

The writing was on the wall 4 years ago already, and confirmed by the 2019 IRP, which has failed spectacularly to add 2600 MW of IPP power year on year as promised. Coupled by a sub 55% EAF (which will take at least 10 years to recover to the global standard of 75% IF all sabotage and corruption is ruled out) and malfeasance-induced performance issues, BEE, AA and poor design, planning and execution of Medupi and Kusile, we will have stage 25 load-shedding in the next two to three years.

So solar-up now folks, even those of you fortunate to live in a load-shedding free environment, dark times ahead.

Absolutely, without solar it's going to be a long dark night.

What this means, mathematically, is that the EAF is a continuum. There cannot be a discontinuity — also known as a step change – in the EAF trend.

Yes, yes, we know, I've read that statement numerous times already. The dead horse is 6 feet under.

why do we listen to this idiot yelland!
