They won't grab it, that sounds so forceful and something a colonizer would do, rather they will caress the land you know gently embrace it while singing struggle songs

Investors will all end up with the state as their legal business partner.

So they want investors to invest in land but are planning on expropriating land used for speculation. Isn't speculation just another name for investing?

holy crap... look at how that turned out.

Yea.. trusting ANC is trusting the guy the beats and robs you on a daily basis.

You have to feel for Zim farmers. They could be ever so slightly forgiven for not fully realising what was coming. Not much though as Marxism was very well understood already in '94. At least with our Marxists we have seen the blueprint close to home and we know exactly what is coming. Going forward there can be no sympathy for those who claim to be surprised when the Marxist dream is fully realised in SA.

True... and then scary part is you get supporters in SA for EFF/ANC. Just look at Zim... there is where SA will end up.

Exactly, not often one is handed a crystal ball. Sometimes I think the average "I am staying" minority South African is actually more stupid than an ANC voter.

Racially skewed land-ownership patterns in South Africa that stem from colonial and White-minority rule persist more than a quarter century after the ANC took power, a status quo that’s caused rising resentment among Black citizens who account for more than 80% of the population.

Opinion of the author?

Topic should therefore be marked "Opinion". The surveys I have seen show that the land issue is an issue for 10 percent or less of the population. There are at least around 8 or so issues that they find more pressing with jobs etc at the top.

We are told Apartheid is to blame for the looting of the country that has brought it to its knees. It is a good story to tell.

How will apartheid prevent expropriation without compensation going wrong? If everything that the ANC destroyed is the fault of apartheid then it naturally follows that EWC will fail 'because apartheid'.

And yet they are now ignoring their favourite narrative while lying to investors. Stay true to the narrative and tell investors now that EWC will fail 'because apartheid'. It is exactly that narrative you will use after it fails dismally, is corruptly implemented, and food security is ultimately destroyed.
