So why then discrimination against other men who also want to compete in women's races?
How the hell must I know...why would any man, want to compete in a woman's event?....by what I have read, shorter distance racers nor field event athletes will have said restrictions...if IAAF is so concerned about hyperandrogenism advantages...rule should apply across all disciplines, yes?

Cape Town - South African swimmers, including Olympic gold medallist Chad le Clos, will have to pay their own way to compete in the FINA World Championships in Barcelona later this year as their cash-strapped federation cannot fund their trip.

Swimming South Africa CEO Shaun Adriaanse confirmed that the federation would be sending the swimmers to Spain but they would have to pay for their own flights and accommodation for the championship starting on July 19.

Bert le Clos, who manages his son Chad, called the situation "pathetic".

"It's pathetic that you have to (buy) your own flight tickets," he told South Africa's Sunday Times newspaper. "It's a disgrace when you consider the amount of medals and glory swimmers bring to this country. There are other teams, which I don't want to point out, that get millions but bring back nothing."

Was the Athletics South Africa approached for funding or did they go straight to the taxpayer ?

She's a citizen of South Africa - If we can't spend money defending out citizens against unfair discrimination then wth. It's not one or the other. We can both defend our citizens and build toilets. Defending her is not the problem here. It's where money is wasted on politicians and corruption that is the problem.
Except its not unfair discrimination. What's unfair is an intersex individual with abnormally high testosterone (for a woman) competing against normal women.

And in the mean time elite cyclists elected to represent their own country at world championships have to buy their own kit.

This seems like a PR exercise by the ANC tbh.

"They refer to Caster as a disadvantaged girl, from a little village & has gone on to achieve her dreams.. We need to fight for the other African children wanting to achieve their dreams of athletics. We cannot allow this discrimination to African people."

Nice way to distract us from Eskom & economic issues.

To be fair 25 bar wouldn't buy us six hours of loadshedding.
Or, would only...

What's the problem. She has a biological advantage, same as the other athletes mentioned
She has a gender advantage, because beyond any doubt she is not just a woman.
Men and women compete separately because women simply can't compete against men in athletics - they'll almost never win. If caster wants to compete then she should run against men or other intersex individuals.

If this is allowed to continue women's sport will completely die out because intersex individuals will smash all the women. Does that sound like a great solution to you?

If they contest that, it's confirmation she knows without it she'd not be competitive in FEMALE athletics.
They've already done this. Remember when caster absolutely tanked a few years back? It was a trial in the IAAF of limiting the testosterone in females and Caster sucked big time without her man-advantage.

It was reversed because of some prat insisted that testosterone doesn't give an athlete an advantage, and they had to do some formal study. Not up to speed where in the process they currently are.
