That's not the way to go about it, Helen Zille did not resign from the DA when Maimane was busy turning the party into an ANC lite version, she fought for what she believed in.

The DA has always been a lite version of the ANC. All DA supporters and voters are in fact ANC supporters and support what is happening in the country. They just settled for a less radical version of the party.

Yes, she won. Do you think Hogan is going to win in that disgrace of a political party? Does she have enough people backing her thinking and values? If so, why aren't they as vocal about the same issues considering the country is busy circling the toilet bowl.
Ramaphosa also did not resign and he won. It's not about personal victories though, it's about your beliefs of what is right and influencing the party in that direction, no one has ever won by quitting in politics, all the people who quit are now a bunch of losers.

OK then she's failing and there's hardly anyone who supports her views.
The ANC isn't changing at all.

Many people in the party are busy speaking out against what the ANC have become. Derek Hanekom made remarks similar to hers at the same event and Jesse's funeral the other week had similar remarks by various speakers including the famous Mbeki one.

I know Hanekom is critical of where the party is heading. More would send a message. Clearly not enough.

Can't wait for people to say, say it, saaayyyy it
say what? were idiots and should never vote for corruption and incompetence.
I think that will never get said, as I think they will just stay away,

even if the ANC officials stand at the voting station and hand out R200 notes

Barbara is way ahead of you. She's playing the long game. Wait ten years and you will see
