We know of road rage, well i had a serious case of internet rage yesterday/lastnight.

Jeez like.

How do you guys access the net? I'm using my cellphone, but ****e its slow... do Virgin have a access card thingy? How much they sell it for?

Thanks... out of interest... does the card work on any network, and whats an estimate of the price?

I'm using a nokia 6310i, which is only gprs.

The price of a GPRS+EDGE only data card is not too far removed from a GPRS+EDGE+3G+HSDPA one. Rather leave these on the shelf.

i dont get the point then... cause u can get an 3G phone for less than half that and use it as a 'modem'... the cellphone providers in the company are real ****ers.... worst part is Virgin claims not to rip 'us' off...

I was considering buying a Nokia N95 through them cause they say they don't charge interest, etc. They don't need to if they're selling the phone at +R3000 higher than the stores.

They do rip customers off, just like the others.

The odd thing about the data cards from the bigger networks, is they don't seem to drop much in price like cellphones do.

Cell phone prices start dropping after the initial buzz and interest starts dwindling. With data cards we by no means have even reached peak interest. The prices won't drop significantly in the near future unless there is some sort of bulk discount.

...the prices won't drop because the providers know they can rip off consumers in SA... thats why I'm ordering a data card of ebay
