GPRS settings for phone

I had no connection for 2 days this week and had to phone the helpdesk 3 times. I know my PC settings are correct as my laptop could also not connect. The problem is 3 helpdesk guys gave me different WebAccess settings of which none worked ie changed my "Go to URL" to Google then to MTN WAP etc. I got it going but it connects at 115.2kbps. Can anyone tell me if my settings are correct?

Tried *123*13# Don't work.

Try it slowly. Just *123# SEND/CALL and see if you get a menu.

Yes, I get a menu but when I select 1 for phone setup I get a scrambled message and don't know what to do. It looks like this:
$#11/x+xx$ etc
