Buy used on carbonite, you'll get way more value for your money...

Why limit yourself to a a specific brand & model when they all perform within a few fps of each other?

Some just prefer sticking to something that they are familiar and that they have used. Some gpu’s like Gigabyte come with a 3 month warranty and others with 2 years. Buying used is a gamble you don’t no if it’s been refurbished atleast new comes from an authorised dealer

Good brands for me are msi, evga and asus.

Also heard good things from zotac but haven't personally owned one.

You're talking absolute horse schite! The only gigabyte gpus that have 3 month warranties are the mining cards. The rest of their gpus have 3yr warranties. GPU's in general just don't keel over and die as you imagine. Most gpus come with a 3yr warranty, a few with 2yrs. In the rare instance that something should happen you are covered by warranty.

Best you find the most expensive gpu to allay your fears and sleep with it under your pillow where its safe.

There really is no such thing as a bad brand these days sticking to the mainstream names.

That is so true, no room for being a bad brand. I guess the only thing is after sale support
