Cool Project!
Shark tracking integrated with google earth for viewing - http://sharks-ocearch.verite.com/

Quite some interesting movements in there:
Luis Antonio - 10ft/900LB Great White - Got from Gansbaai to Richards Bay in like 18 days!
Maureen - 14ft/2000LB Great White - Struisbaai up to Beira & now SE of Maurituis.
Madiba - East London to Saldanha

"Sharks' tab on the right - click on the name - then the "Profile tab" then click on the "where have i been"

This is "Madiba" who was only tagged on the 8th March 2012

http://www.whitesharktrust.org/migration.html

Check out Nicoles trip from SA to Oz and back again.

Is very interesting huh.
I always thought GW's stayed in cold water but the data shows otherwise.
Back in 2010 we caught a tagged Bluefin that was originally tagged in Oz 5 years prior, guess it may have gone back & forth a couple of times but here's the tagged location & the captured location from the data we were sent back from Oz.

Great post! Fascinating stuff. Saw three of the GWs lolling around in Fish Hoek Bay last summer - just off the back line. Quite a sight. Thanks for the links.

They should now give them facebook profiles.
