Idiot! The Royal ba***eng Stadium was built years ago, it just got an upgrade for the world cup!

The new stadiums are in PE, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Cape Town and Durban.

Moses Mabhida is getting an athletics track post 2010, and will be used to bid for the 2020 Olympics in Durban.

PE really need a new stadium, the EPRFU stadium sucks, and will soon be demolished.

Oooh! A clever boy. Please explain Nelspruit and Pokkelwane then. Oh, and Durban too. And probably Cape Town. And how much to upgrade Rustenburg? What guaranteed levels of financial return are us taxpayers and ratepayers going to get for funding these? Or are we just pissing money away for some dubious "status" or to redistribute the tax take to affirmative contractors or the like?

I am sure we will be subsidizing these white elephants for decades to come.

feel free to google. nobody has suggested that those venues dont face issues.

ignorance is bliss. there are enough threads covering info about CT's operator and events already planned pre and post 2010.

go well.

Oh I did, old chap. Couldn't find anything other than vague hopes and outright condemnation. Seeing that you are so wise, maybe you could point me to announcements of future contracts and analyses of committed returns on the public investments.

If you wan to see a white elephant, go to the harbour. Whatever the loss, these stadiums are glorious. Can you imagine the tourism pickup we should expect if we can host a great world cup.

They will be quite the pleasure to attend.

ive said whats needed to be said, ive even provided draft operator agreements outlining maintenance of some venues.

as ive said above feel free to browse previous threads, because im not entertaining another sackyboy. if you feel that you're different to him/her, you've not shown it.

any man in the street can scream "white elephants".

ignorance is bliss. feel free to continue "debating" the issue with other forumers. i'll be using the ignore list function.

go well.

You do what you must. I'll take your response as an admission that you cannot show any signed viable long-term contracts that provide a reasonable return on our tax money. "Drafts" don't cut it at this stage.

These aren't white elephants, they are bigger than that - white woolly mammoths more like it.
