Green Tea

Coffee is also very good for you (does anyone know if instant coffee keeps these health benefits?)

I really tried to like green tea and rooibos, but never took to either. Not sure which one I like less though.

Uhm, compare Green Tea to Rooibos tea and you will see that Rooibos has almost all of the benefits and it doesn't contain caffeine. I would just stick to that, tastes better.
Once encountered a health nut ranting and raving about the evils of caffeine, and how he switched to green tea to avoid its perils. Had no response when I pointed out that green tea also contains caffeine.

As with everything moderation and balance is important - coffee if also packed with anti-oxidants and caffeine in the right amounts (no more than 3 cups per day - one teaspoon per cup)
What's that in mugs of filter coffee?

:D had the same argument. :D first he claimed that I do not knwo what I was talking about. So I googled it. Love the internet on your phone :D

Green tea and black tea is basically the same and both have caffeine. Rather use Rooibos, much more anti-oxidants and no caffeine. I use to drink green tea in the past, but am drinking rooibos now, much better effects on my life.

ok ill sold, im switching to rooibos
Not even one month ago i took a 2 day detox, which included coffee. The headache I got from caffeine withdraw was insane.
I dont like the fact that I need coffee to wake up after a good night's sleep, seems redundant

you want green tea? Go get some Chinese green tea rather. Much better especially the "high mountain tea" from Taiwan. You'll find in a few stores in Cyrildene.
And the best way to drink tea is straight up! no suger, honey, milk or whatever. Much better original taste and smell. That is for most asian teas. I'd drink my Rooibos black/red as well. But that's just me and most chinese people too! haha

I like the green tea with mint, it smells good too. Either the woolies one or the twilings.

Whilst tea does contain caffeine, the quantity in a standard teabag is roughly half the amount in a mug of coffee.
