Well, there's a lot of evidence to prove the opposite...
So far the torrent on Pirate Bay got 30 seeds, and... wait for it... almost 17000 leechers! :eek:

EDIT: 37 seeds and 17623 leechies to be exact...

+1 Hellvamp also seems like a decent guy. Loads of others things that tells me it is not fake.

There are some fakes, just one legit one. ~14GB One on Piratebay.

Pre-ordered it yesterday from Kalahari. Used my R75 Christmas Voucher. Got it for R299. If it is released on Friday it will probably be only delivered on Monday.

The release date is set for tomorrow at the online stores, so Kalahari is supposed to get them tomorrow as well if they do their job.

i prefer to actually play this on a console...i played gta san andreas on PS2 and it was awsome.. just felt like an actual game. playing on the pc i think wont be as fun

I played GTA SA on a PS2 after playing it on the PC - gave up after about 10 minutes. Keyboard + Mouse FTW!

Ouch, I've seen this happen before. Friend of mine and his brother shares absolutely nothing. For me it is the strangest thing as me and my brother shares stuff and it is weird to see eg. the one brother buying a game... and not letting the other brother touch it at all! Almost not even allowed to watch as the other one plays the game. They are on a LAN with these firewalls protecting their PCs from each other and do not share stuff between the PCs. But they play LAN games together like crazy! Each sourcing the game being played via other means. *cough*

In any case... Reports about glitches, overall non-performance and locked graphic settings have been cropping up on forums all over as GTA IV was released to North America today. Common denominators include having an ATI 4800 series card running on Vista. Details are still sketchy. For now we must hope it is nothing serious and that it is random. Maybe we'll see a hotfix by tomorrow? :D

Edit:
Oh, and BT Games has already received their stock of the game! 100% Ready for tomorrow's release :cool:

Problem with ati is they fix games when they come out with new drivers, nvidia does not have such a major downfall. Also the 4870x2 won't be able to use both cores until ati release a driver and update their profile.

I tried to buy GTA from kalahari using ebucks but the ebucks portal messed up my order, Now I have to wait to get the funds back and redo it... :mad:

I Emailed the world today... Confirmed that there is physical stock in BT Games stores already. Was distributed today. They also confirmed that I'll be able to pick up my copy as soon as the shop opens tomorrow morning 9am. So it is the 3rd. Definitely :D
