GTL Graphics Problem

Hi guys,

Just installed GTL again, but this time I have run into a problem. The graphics are not coming up right. I run a Nvidia 6600GT 128MB AGP Graphics card.

The graphics are forming like a Triangle in the cockpit, as well as the tar reflects in the sky and on the floor and then at stages the grass form like a line through the tar. What can this be?

I know some graphics cards do that when its overclocked.. It could be that either your graphics card's fan isn't running properly.. or its being overclocked either by software, or maybe a faulty card..(if its new). Otherwise your machine could be running extremely hot on the inside.. and then the cooling of the 3dcard isn't sufficient.. thats my 2cents.

do you have 3dMark05 or 06 to run some benchmarks and see if you get the same problem? just to confirm whether your card is overheating or has some issues.

what drivers you running btw? 84.21?

Did you remember to load the GTL patch 1.1. The patch addressed alot of the problems the game had.

But it sounds to me like a overworked g/card.

thanx for the help. I found the problem. I never set the shader level to Directx 9
