I was just having a look at www.goal.co.za and I noticed that they are going to be selling a 20GB Unshaped SAIX account for R648. That means that they are selling the bandwidth at R32.4 per unshaped gigabyte. How come they can sell it at those prices and yet no other ISPs can?

Well I dont believe they could offer the price now hence the 'we are currently upgrading our infrastructure due to the immense response we have'. think it's just a marketing ploy to get ppl to know GTS. They've been promising those prices since July. Can't imagine a business would upgrade their infrastructure before any service was provided.

Personally, I rather they focus their energies on Rolling BPL to the major Metro Area's.

I doubt I would join GTS if they launch, unless MyADSL gives them a brilliant recommendations.

Unfortunately first impressions are the most important and so far they haven't made a very good first impression. No doubt they will be be launching when Neotel start offering cheaper caps :(
