Guide to buying altcoins on international exchanges

Thanks for the Guide @saor. Trying to deposit ETH from Luno to Binance, but keep getting "Not a valid wallet address" on Luno when I try to send... No idea why... Any suggestions?

3.) Now I can send Bitcoin from my valr wallet to the binance bitcoin address provided, or just scan the QR code with the valr app. Once the transaction has gone through, the exchange will let you see when the deposit has been received.

How do the exchanges work out the cost to send from exchange to exchange? I see Luno says it is "Dynamic"... I want to send a small amount of ETH from Luno to Binance, but the cost seems to be high (around 6% on this small transaction). This normal, or am I doing something wrong? Does the percentage get smaller when you start sending bigger amounts?

I exchanged my eth for xrp and then sent that to binance. I read somewhere that it's the cheapest way to send

Get the coinomi wallet. It supports multiple altcoins, and has an exchange linked. Works on your phone. Good, safe, reliable.

For niche coins like that you want to use a platform like RESBank with a banking license:

Phone/email them, tell them the coins you want to invest in and they'll have you sorted in two business days.

Very simple actually. Most of these coins are on the BSC network. So you will need a metamask wallet or trustwallet , and use these wallets trading via pancake swap. You will need BNB to trade with.

To anyone else out there, Binance has stopped card payments with ZAR, regardless of what bank, suppose it came from the SARB side. I bank with FNB, altcoin trader stopped taking deposits from FNB, LUNO wallets are on the ETH network so fees transferring, are crazy. Anyone try VALR or Binance P2P yet?

So with the new SARB pressure on SA exchanges, is anyone still staking via Luno, or are you going via offshore exchanges?

Would videos of something like I posted above be useful or is it easy enough to follow with text & images?
It is clear enough for me, but then I am of the generation that finds written instructions easier to follow than videos! Thanks.
