Guild on Steamwheedle Cartel (EU RP server)

Any South-Africans playing on this server? Horde side? Me and a friend started a guild on the server, and would like to recruit more peeps from our homeland

Mild RP guild, not so hardcore, just some good ol' WoW fun! We are 3 now, still low lvl, lvl21 Priest, Lock and Warrior! If you are interessted, mail Baddream, the GM! This is my first time running a guild, and also playing horde side! So any help and expertise could be helpful! Dunno if we are planning to raid once lvl60, would be fun though, will see! There isn't alot of players on Steamwheedle, so getting enough people for raiding might be tricky, but that's still a long way to go!

Guild name: <Under the Burning Sky> (Yeah I know, I'm a warcraft fan, got the name from the end mission from the Undead campaign in War3!)

Interesting... I've never thought about playing on an RP server because, apparently, their rules regarding staying in "character" are quite strict. I'm surpised your GM's name was allowed...

I don't know if I'll be able to stay in character the whole time though...

Yeah, I actually asked the GM if my name is applicable, and he said there isn't a problem with it, if someone does complain, I will be asked by Blizzard to rename it, hopefully I wont have to erase and create a new character!

About the RP'ing, in guild chat, also in most of the party chat it's OOC, I rarely found that people are IC when in parties! I also have a char on Earthen Ring, also a RP server, and even there is little RP'ing going on, here and there an event, but not to hectic! I think it's in /s that people report you for not RP'ing! Or people joing a RP guild and no RP'ing is going on =P

Now you might ask why did I create a RP guild? Well, I dunno? I like to role play now and then, but not all of the time!

So I stand corrected, it's a guild on a RP server, so if you wish to RP, we will join along, otherwise, it's just a guild for Afrikaners to play WoW together

well, when people do report me for the guild name, I will just create a new one, it's only 10s

the whole PvP realm, I dunno, maybe, don't like the idea of being ganked, and corpse camping etc.

also, busy with exams :s

so, cant create new one anytime soon

correct me if I'm wrong mate, but isn't Twilight's Hammer a normal server? We are talking about EU servers here right ?

1g for a tabard, 10g for a guild

And TH is a PvP realm. On EU servers, yes. I have lvl40 lock, lvl12 hunter and lvl15 Shaman on there, so I'm pretty sure

As for the ganking - you learn which areas to stay away from - Stranglethorn Vale being the MAIN one!

Besides, that's what guilds are for - to help out when you get ganked. I'm a member of one of the biggest SA guilds on TH - Dark Rage. They're an awesome group of people.

Do you actually think prices vary according to realms? Because I really did pay 10s to register the guild name, and now I'm saving for the tabard, need 10g! Bah! I know what you mean now! Doh! Your 10g for a guild is my create a tabard for 10g, and yes, then other players from the guild can buy the tabard for 1g!

I found the Dark Rage site! Yeah, it looks awesome! Then there must be a mistake on http://www.handsofwrath.com/modules.php?name=Forums , because there it states that TH is a Normal server

Wow-europe is down because of the patch :s, so I can't look there....

Yes they are wrong, indeed. It's definately a PvP server.

I'm not sure about the guild prices, but for as long as I've known, it's been 10g for the guild registration and 1g for the tabards. I'll make sure tonight though... once I can log on... -_-
