:crylaugh:LION BITES 'STUPID' WALES HOOKER BALDWIN
OSPREYS COACH STEVE TANDY CONFIRMED THAT HOOKER SCOTT BALDWIN'S ABSENCE DURING THE PRO14 MATCH AGAINST THE CHEETAHS WAS DUE A LION INCIDENT.
Baldwin's hand was bitten by a lion at a game park, prior to Ospreys 25-44 defeat to Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.
The coach described the unrelated rugby incident as 'pretty stupid' and showed no sympathy for the injured player.
"There was an incident with a lion, but in fairness, it was nothing to do with the lion," Tandy told reporters after the match in Bloemfontein.
"He did bite Scott but when you put your hand in a fence where there is a lion, then you will get bitten.
"It was pretty stupid on Scott's behalf and he is pretty lucky. It was a good environment and we were told how far back to stand.
"I don't know what sort of wildlife show Scott has been watching where you can pat a lion on the head as if it's a kitten,"
I guess it is true when it comes to putting your hand in a lion enclosure.... Scotty didn't know.LION BITES 'STUPID' WALES HOOKER BALDWIN

:crylaugh:Asked what they had learned from fellow PRO14 clubs' visits to South Africa, Connacht's John Muldoon added: "Don't put your hand into cages and hope that the management behind the scenes have the visas right. That it?"
To which Connacht coach Nigel Carolan stated: "And turn your laptop off when you are on the plane."
