Amazing. This is how Mondli Gungubele, minister in the presidency, gave his impression of Sol-Tech's campus in Monument Park in Pretoria on Friday after he visited the vocational training college on invitation.

The visit was facilitated after discussions between, among others, ex-pres. Thabo Mbeki and several ministers and leaders of the Solidarity Movement.

"I applaud the fact that they decided to talk to us, instead of doing other strange things," Gungubele said after his meeting with Flip Buys, chairman of the Solidarity Movement, Werner Human, operational head of the movement, and Paul van Deventer, head of Sol-Tech, said.

"We are very excited. They listed their concerns and felt the model of transformation was not right. It doesn't produce outcomes."

"The minister emphasized that it is important for all South Africans to be included and says that what the government is now being challenged to do is to make it clear that what is contained in the Constitution is also intended."

It is because white South Africans are getting excluded that Sol-Tech was build.

Now this idiot talks about "inclusivity" and how all South Africans must have access to facilities like these.

Meanwhile, his corrupt and incompetent government closed down these type of institutions, and it was them who dropped the standards.

It is because of his corrupt and retarded friends and colleagues that ALL South Africans does not have access to facilities like these!

He calls Sol-Tech "amazing!". I just call it "normal".

Mondli Gungubele is an idiot!

""I am overwhelmed, speechless that there is such a place of excellence in this country," he said."

Yes, Mr. Gungubele, that is how we Afrikaners roll!

Next thing is the ANC will be high jacking Sol Tech and make English the only language of teaching. Then they will force attendance to be at least 90% indigenous. ;)

Was about to say exactly this. When the Minister spoke about inclusivity, he was in fact referring to include more black people to such numbers representing the nation at Sol-Tech. Then change the language policy to English. And government will eventually decide who gets in and who not.

He is overwhelmed and speechless, not by the fact that it is on par with international standards. He is overwhelmed and speechless cause, how hard do you have to f*** the afrikaners into the ground for them to stay down.

You take their land away, their education, their language and their culture. You actively discriminate against their very way of living. You rape their women and kill their children. And they still manage to build THAT.

Homo erectus was there for food and to make noises, nothing more.

He will report back to the ANC and tell them that their communism is not refirming enough thinking.. and then the ANC will deal with them specifically.

All of what this bozo said is fake, its fake astonishment, fake reaction.. he ran straight back to the ANC.

"Hau eish, those Afrikaner bastids are still succeeding... we better do something, can't we get Julius to go on the rampage there?"

Yeah, they will take it over. There is no two ways about this. It is just a matter of time before new laws will be introduced and they will nationalize it through 'regulation'. Lesufi already had a big problem with Sol-Tech. They will not allow it in SA - https://maroelamedia.co.za/nuus/sa-nuus/sol-tech-lesufi-braak-weer-gal-solidariteit-versnel-planne/

I'm left wondering what "vreemde dinge" white people do in Gungubele's mind?

Probably building a whole super-modern training college in a couple years at dirt cheap pricing compared to what it costs government. Probably launching a training facility with people who actually has skills and knowledge to train. Probably educating and training Afrikaans speaking people who can actually do the job when they graduate.

Who knows?

Apparently they can’t get jobs in SA so they’re all being trained to leave the country?

I know Solidariteit have agreements in place with some companies and they also help placing graduates in positions once they are finished. But yeah, BEE and AA and other employment laws are strangling businesses and the economy and I am sure they will not be able to place every graduate in a local company. I am sure many will leave the country. I heard Solidariteit can assist with that too as they do have foreign companies also interested in qualified students.

Start their own businesses. Then get work from 100s of tenderpreneurs as clients who can't do the work. Why do you think the economy is still going at all. Why do the things still work, still work at all?

No, they are not. Some ones are benefitting indeed. For the biggest part, most pack up and leave as they eventually settle down, marry and have children. Very few white people I know wants to live in a country like SA. There are no future for their children. Eventually most leave and settle abroad.

Yep, somewhat similar to black people under apartheid, who received reading, writing, arithmetic, table manners, currency, justice systems, roads, plumbing, work ethic, scientific method and enhanced religion as well as their language skills with todays' lingua franca, to name but a few. Good times those, and it shows in their population growth.

Educated people don't have their population grow that fast. If they were taught more than trained to serve you'd see a very different graph.

So, once again a lot of the issues in SA today are apartheid’s fault.

I said it in the Zulu thread and people weren’t happy. I’ll say it again. The apartheid government could have done something about this when they had the chance. Or maybe they tried?
