Of all the 5000 or so gods that have been invented during written history, none of them have ever been of any help to the mindless worshippers but a single St James CE parishioner with a .38 made a lifesaving difference to dozens of fellow parishioners in 1993 when four terrorists attacked the church, killing eleven members of the congregation with another 58 wounded. A single .38 cancelled four killers armed with AKs and grenades.

Yes, although to be fair, Charl is a very devout Christian. So perhaps God was working through him?

Although it would have been a bit kinder to the victims of that attack if God had, perhaps, just stopped it from happening in the first place.

My friend and his mother were sitting in the front row. She took an AK round to the chest and passed away choking on her own blood. ****ed him up for life.

All part of God's plan hey ...

Maybe they were moving cash out in secret. You know mos how these churches seem to get people to separate with hard earned money? Tithes I think is the term. Before my dad passed away 11 years ago I found out his church was milking him at around R3500 a month. I even had a hair raising confrontation with "church leadership" about it. He could barley support himself but they would happily want that much a month from him. Con artists.

Yep, that is something that should change. I know a security consultant that works these big religious events for those cultists that wear white and will have their services at random clearings in the bush, you know that church? When they have big events they have to take away truck loads of those blue 210 liter plastic drums filled to the brim with cash.

I remember when Joost vd Westhuizen's brother was able to fend of attackers at their church because he was carrying.
 
Good thing the govt and PSIRA are currently trying to pass a new law that will prohibit security guards from carrying firearms in churches, schools, shopping centres, cinemas, restaurants etc etc.
Can't have the criminals risking their lives, have to make it easier for them, right?

Pretty fkn twisted god you must have if he allows people to rob you while you're praying to him. Then again, he gives children cancer, so not surprised.
